I have always had a deep love for the natural world. I work from my home on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon, where I connect to the environment and wildlife of my childhood. I have a design background both from architectural studies and work in the USA, and an education degree in art and design.
I love the malleability of clay and experiencing it coming alive! Equally exciting is the firing process, especially the alchemy of raku. Each piece I create is unique, modelled in clays of differing texture and inherent colour, and then fired using raw oxides to create natural tones.
I am a SWS (South West Sculptors) member.
I also belong to WPA (Westcountry Potters Association), DAN (Devon Artist Network) and a-n (the Artist Network).
